Watched village of the damned (1995), a sci fi horror directed by John Carpenter. Following a blackout in a small town, many women give birth to gifted children. They grow quickly and display evil traits. They use telepathy to harm people. A local doctor discovers the truth about their origins and the menace they pose. This is a remake of a 1960 movie directed by Wolf Rilla. (Didn’t see the original). The movie was boring. It was a good idea to spend some of the plot on explaining the origin of the children but it could have been done more succinctly. By the time the movie gets to the action there’s less than 30 minutes left. It was poorly executed. This movie reminds me of the Brood (1979) directed by David Cronenberg. The Brood was Cronenberg’s third movie. Even though he was still finding his style, he did a much better job with it than this movie. 6/10 #nodereviews

He makes good ones
Pulp Fiction is the best.
wtf is this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
A masterpiece!
What’s the context behind this?
It's part of a very old Argentine commedy show called Efecto Lima.
A comedy makes sense 🤣
It’s odd that a great director makes a parody of another great.
I like Village of the Damned. The original had sequels, IIRC.
The 1960 version is worth a watch?
I don't remember how similar / different they are, but the main difference is that the 1960 version was b&w, so the albino effect is a lot more efficient. I think I liked the original better, but it's been a long time since I watched them.
Remakes have a way of ruining things. Curious about the albino effect
