So you are saying, when someone zaps you, you don't see the zap in primal? Like, here I am in Jumble.social. I zapped you, and I see this: 
Do you mean on the screen that shows your balance? If so, this is what it looks like for me in 3 different NWC clients .. you can see that Damus and Alby are showing the transactions, but Primal is not.
Typically if something works in multiple Nost clients, but not in just one nostr client, that is something that the broken implementation would need to fix.

What platform are you using? Have you tried Amethyst or Damus? Personally I always have found so many things broken in Primal that I have given up on it....
Here it is also in Yakihonne. Yakihonne doesn't show the zap data (they need to implement that I guess), but it's clear that the transactions are showing -- so, so far it's Damus, Yakihonne, Alby -- all working -- Primal, not working. Theoretically we could try to fix Primal's app for them, but usually doesn't end well.
If you're a long-time Primal user, or you have some inside connection to them, you could try pinging nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr or nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg or nostr:npub1220szxd9umutc2hd4aueq40nakjul5ptsky9fen7gvr6hfz28kcs4kncsh and maybe you could convince them to fix their NWC implementation?
I’ll try. But Primal works with other NWC wallets like Coinos. These are the types of things that keep normies away from adopting these tools.
