It’s actually funny; most know so little about money that they think govt fiat is the only way it could ever work.

While the truth is that fiat has barely existed for a blip and has been the worst performing, shortest surviving, & least reliable of any money type in human history.

Many genuinely think the worst money we’ve ever had has no chance of being disrupted.

I’m betting they are wrong.

You are not wrong, they are.. and the future that is about to come will be seen by different generations that will benefit for being right.

Because it’s all we’ve ever known as humans that are alive today. It’s very hard to picture a world different than the only one we’ve ever known.

Like you, I also bet against it. Took a lot of study & hard work to get there though. Many don’t have the time I did to do that or really the interest. They will just flow with where the tide takes them.

What has been will be, until it's not. Most of us are terrible at viewing the world in any way other than what we see in front of us. Fortunately changes don't need everyone to see them to happen. One funeral at a time the world will progress. One funeral at a time they convinced everyone that fiat growth was preferred. It was fast, things felt easy but it was in fact stealing from the future. One funeral at a time we will take the future back and leave a better world for our childen.

I think about this a lot and how the world came to be this way. My conclusion is that it wouldn’t be possible without compulsory schooling. It really destroys your spirit and makes you an obedient sheep incapable of thinking independently.

History will look back at the blip of time between gold and bitcoin and view fiat as a failed experiment....if it mentions it at all. Perhaps only mentioning it as the reason for the existence of bitcoin.

It will be probably discussed as a corrupt & war filled monetary dark age between industrial revolution & the super renaissance that comes next.

It only takes two generations to paradigm shift. Look how the over flouridated and peak seed oil generations have turned out.

You have to be able to zoom out super far and see some uncomfortable systemic design before you can start to acknowledge the issue
