Healthy pride = satisfaction from achievements

Unhealthy pride = arrogance and an inflated sense of superiority

Nuanced distinction

Personally I never feel pride over my achievements, because I always think I should be doing more/better.

Transient satisfaction is a better frame. Celebrating achievement is a healthy, sustainable dopamine bump to thrust us into continued achievement. Languishing in achievements stunts further progress

Anytime I feel comfortable with achievement it’s a nudge to think bigger and elevate my ambitions

There is no limit to the good we can do to glorify God. Only self imposed ceilings that keep us comfortable

Thanks for the A+ posts 👊🏽
