When hubby trades your serialized Glock for the ghost Glock.💞

Don't @ me with they "it's not a Glock"

I know. I built one too.

As long as it protects my babies it shouldn't matter.

I take offense at the ghost part lol It's just a personally manufactured firearm.

Ghost gun is what they came up with to demonize making your own firearm, which has never been illegal.

I think they improved the sales numbers by calling it a ghost.

Oh after a search it seems this is a brand..

Glocks are cool but I'm a Sig guy so I don't know the market for Glocks. I'm specifically talking about the "ghost gun" pejorative people use for 3d printed personally manufactured firearms because it's being used to scare people who don't know anything about guns to ban them.

My comment wasn't about the brand. I think by labeling personally manufactured firearms as "ghosts" they brought more interest in by people who were unaware of them. I'm a Sig guy too. Did you know there is an 80% Sig P320?

Yea I hear ya. I've just heard too many people talking about people making "ghost guns" as extremists. It's brought both good and bad attention IMO

I don't have the equipment to machine an 80% but that's cool. I assume most lowers have an 80% option these days. I have considered 3d printing some but it would mostly be as a proof of concept. Definitely wouldnt trust my life with one I made on my shitty 3d printer 😄

Y'all can follow me for 3d printed gun shenanigans.

Already do! Bring it

I found the term "ghost gun" intriguing. I do see how it can scare off people though. These days if I hear the government doesn't like something, I typically become more interested in the idea. I also use the terminology because it's more mainstream and I assumed more people would understand what I was getting at. Either way, it's a firearm that can protect my family and the government doesn't need record of it.
