Appendix carry scares me because I want to keep my nuts lol, but also it's the only semi-comfortable way to carry in my opinion.

As a guy with a medium belly, kidney's the only comfortable way.
I carry 5-o'clock but I'm still experimenting with positions and holsters. That just seems to be the best non-appendix option for me.
I've accepted the fact that carrying is just going to be uncomfortable no matter what, my concern is the risk of shooting myself - adrenaline is not great for fine motor control.
If you're sitting most of the time, it's probably the best way to carry.

Two recommendations. Carry with an empty chamber under the firing pin, revolver or SA, and never holster the firearm in your waistband. Femoral artery breach and you bleed out in 30 seconds. Better safe and sure.
