You can literally ask John or the pubky team for an invite and they will give you one… permissionless protocols do not equate to permissionless coercing of server space
There are hardware limitations in p2p networks and it’s expensive af to host a server
Access codes bottleneck bad actors that would destroy the protocol instantly by coercion of hardware space
Nostr is built off of relays and TR L1s… the only reason this is possible is bc there was an early Satoshi era where people built nodes
Just like what will happen with the execution of pubky… its literally no different
You’re just farther down the line and able to piggy back off of 14 years of early development work that you didn’t see take place under the hood
Nostr doesn’t run on Bitcoin nodes and has only been around for about 4.5 years.

^^^ you wouldn’t have nostr/zaps w.o taproot, you wouldn’t have taproot without LN driven development, you wouldn’t have LN without bip 0001, and you sure as hell wouldn’t have any of it without Satoshi peer node 1
Well then how about not dunking on people like John and his team who are v intelligent and putting forth an insane amount of energy and resource to build a censorship resistant P2P cryptographically secure protocol- calling pubky permissioned is active defamation of FOSS development {which fine… but don’t do it from a platform of self righteousness}
If you really support decentralization, user freedom, and sovereignty then you support a future where permissionless P2P protocols exist in the HUNDREDS… otherwise it’s just leeching off of NGu tech
