I mean the obvious answer is don’t collect all these records.

Like nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx says, if you collect KYC data, it WILL get hacked.

Well yes of course... I was thinking of something like nsecbunker that sequesters user data and makes it available to 3rd party agencies as needed but users retain ownership and can revoke access at any time...

I'm just speculating here and there are certainly unforeseen complications...

if it can be hacked, it will be hacked?

Just close the schools and burn the data.

Yup

Sometimes I wonder if this is what my company’s IT staff really want to say to us during our beginning of the year lecture. But on a more serious note— a few years back, we were advised not to check our work email on our personal phones. If an “incident” happened— authorities could possibly have the legal right to seize our phones. So I only do school work on company computers and phones. It is a serious problem.

> Authorities could possibly have the legal right to seize our phones

They do, but they will only target you if they can't get it from your company or from say... Google... themselves.

Which is quite possible, since they will have better legal representation than you can have.

So.. yeah...

Freedom isn't cheap :(

You are right— so many scenarios. My company also has their own Google Domain— so I have a separate Google Drive form school at least.

*for and they use other stuff besides Google.
