For events or people that participate in Zap manipulation or reaction manipulation, I do get those events and people being manipulated themselves from being displayed in Trending or Top Zaps.

I am surprised though by some of these additions. Fronl example: Why nostr:npub1ezw0xm0w52rd4yfdg9zlw9qvwdy46alzelklkefptrd203m37tuq4djmeg ? Dude is a nice person and Zaps more than most. I'm attending Riga in part because of him.

Are nostr:npub12z8jsett3k6rv9fa2guau5p540qr2xuvjzkr8e432mglafjt99sqkw9zmx and nostr:npub12jedfuhk2wfr7syr38t2f55652khuyz9f88r63ftm0j2vudxq9sqq7677r listed because they post nudes? So, are these feeds 18+ only then SFW type of content? They may post nudes, but I see Onyx post a lot of beautiful photos too. I would hate to see that content ignored. I'd this is the case, maybe we can ask adult accounts to use NSFW NIP? After several violations then add them to the list? That sounds like a good compromise to me.

I think a tweak to the algo where you only count one zap event or like event per npub of non new accounts so spamming doesn't effect algo could fix some of these issues . Also cant count anonymous zaps towards trending because too easily gamed. Seeing more trending posts with 1sat spam marked anonymous. Also whenever the trending algo is tweaked or fixed I do think people like nostr:npub1ezw0xm0w52rd4yfdg9zlw9qvwdy46alzelklkefptrd203m37tuq4djmeg nostr:npub12262qa4uhw7u8gdwlgmntqtv7aye8vdcmvszkqwgs0zchel6mz7s6cgrkj etc should be unshadowbanned like a reset until you see manipulation messing the new algo. I did read below you saying it will be transparent who is and who is not being shadowbanned and able to undo that on thw user side so that is good. I also think for e girls posts that are not X rated should be able to trend on the homepage. I get why you don't want x rated stuff on the main 24hr trending that shows up when you go to primal.net but maybe a trending 18+ algo option for those who want to see that should be allowed so nostr:npub12z8jsett3k6rv9fa2guau5p540qr2xuvjzkr8e432mglafjt99sqkw9zmx can fairly trend too. Just some of my ideas. Look forward to see what comes of this πŸ’œ nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg

Yeah, it looks like we added nostr:npub1ezw0xm0w52rd4yfdg9zlw9qvwdy46alzelklkefptrd203m37tuq4djmeg to the "can't trend" list in error. Apologies for that sir, we just fixed it! β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

As for adult content creators, I agree with your point. We are planning to implement a capability to determine whether content is NSFW on a per-note basis. Once that is ready, we can relax the the account-wide restriction.

On slidestr.net I use hashtags and content warning NIP to identify adult content - I still had to mark some profiles (npubs) as NSFW because that was not reliable enough, when neither is available.

The content warning NIP could be a solution but it has does have some issues....

- As a content creator wants to be visible to users for higher engagement and not be hidden behind a second click.

- It is very subjective what is acceptable and what should hidden behind a content warning.

Just give us a NSFW button on post options.

This is NOSTR. No one should be shadow banned at all.
