It is so weird how if an event brings up a negative emotion, then my brain likes to bring up other events where i felt that emotion or similar, maybe not instantly but maybe later that day or even the next. But for positive emotions, it doesnt seem to do the same 😤 i need to have a talkin' to with my brain about its well trodden synaptic pathways lol

Yeah it isn't so much I don't have a way through or that I am overrun by it, it is just an observation and I am like huh. I am quite comfortable being uncomfortable and just noticing without being sucked in. I find it interesting that is only with negative emotions tho, and I am also a big believer in being able to rewire one's brain. It is just programming, but we have to make it conscious to change it. 🫂
