Listening to this TGFN pod and the idea of Notedeck as a nostr browser, where, just like webapps have a DOM and JS APIs, nostr apps would have a readily available local relay, signer and even UI primitives.
The idea implies an app marketplace, but marketplaces are notoriously hard to pull off.

What if we also make Zapstore a nostr app runner? Expose these apps to potentially many more users, leverage binary verification and all that zs provides?
If NIP-01 is used to access the local relay and NIP-55 or similar to access the signer, then Zapstore as a WASM runtime + Citrine + Amber might just work.

what exact is it running exactly? I don't understand why an app store would be resposible for running anything, especially when most of the apps are web based.

I'm simply sharing what I think could be a win win. Building the marketplace is far more challenging than the tech
the browser already works on every OS. the apps are currently rust libraries, but the plan is to make them dynamically loadable with wasm. that's further down the line. still lots to figure out. I need to build a few apps before I figure out what are good apis.
