Yeah. I’m kind of in the same boat as you that if the goal is to grow nostr, it has to be usable to the new users who are probably used to “likes”. Obviously, being nostr only, I personally prefer zaps; however, everyone is gonna be different and it’s good to have the option especially since lightning isn’t easy to set up for the first time.

Yes! It makes so much sense if you’re nostr only to value more zaps than anything else. It’s strange to go from here to TikTok where it’s all about likes/reposts. Now if zaps could be added to TikTok, or there was a TikTok like client 🤯🤯🤯 that would be wild. I’m sharing what I learn on my other social media accounts that I have for work, so I’m hoping to influence people to come over!

Do you use Apple or android? Apparently the #amethyst client for android has a feature similar to TikTok. Nostr is still new though and doesn’t have the funding like corporate social platforms. There is a client similar to YouTube that you can zap with. There’s so many developers on here working on cool tools or clients everyday. I am sure something like TikTok will be here soon if you mean with the filters and added features. You can upload short videos and post them in a note/get zapped here, but it’s not the same yet as far as giving you tools to record and edit videos in-app if I am not mistaken.
