Simple with Sparrow, clients etc and are Wasabi, Payjoin, BTCPay, can Cake Async all with Mobile Payjoin so BullBitcoin payjoin backwards-compatible

Backwards-compatible Payjoin usage is still synchronous and so requires both parties to be online at the same time

Is that the only downside in V1?

From BIP 77:

“However, BIP 78's requirements for Payjoin Version 1 have proven to be an obstacle to adoption. Version 1 receivers must host a secured public-facing HTTP server. Mobile and web environments limit the ability to fulfil such a requirement. Version 1 also requires synchronous communication. Both sender and receiver must be online simultaneously. Wallet developers regard these requirements as barriers to Payjoin adoption.”

Are there videos out there of payment workflow? I'm still having trouble imagining how the transactions are built.

Dan, how can we, as plebs, - push so that Payjoin would become the standard in all wallets? Will the wallets devs be receptive to a Nostr launched and amplified awareness campaign around Payjoin?

Yeah.. talk to our Henry at Cake

There’s more demand than we can deliver on now. Convincing exchanges and wallets helps but really we need another full time dev who knows foreign function interface bindings so that we can keep up with demand for integrations.

Oh, I see.

That's a quite promising sign 😊.
