En celebración del primer bloque de Bitcoin que se haya minado (el 3 de enero del 2009), estamos todos invitados a retirar nuestro Bitcoin de cualquier plataforma centralizada (custodiada) donde lo tengamos - usualmente se trata de intercambios centralizados, como Binance, Coinbase, Bitfinex, Kraken, etc., o de billeteras custodiadas, en caso hayamos dejado ahí más que un par de miles de satoshis.

El propósito de esta iniciativa es no solo recordar que la soberanía financiera requiere nuestro control completo sobre nuestro Bitcoin (sino desde el inicio, por lo menos a partir de cierto grado de comodidad personal con las billeteras), es también poner a prueba esas empresas centralizadas, para ver hasta qué punto poseen realmente todo el Bitcoin que pretenden tener bajo su control - se ha comprobado en años anteriores que varios exchanges han practicado de la misma manera que los bancos: prestan o invierten una parte del Bitcoin de los clientes, contando con que nunca tendrán que devolvérselo a todos en muy poco tiempo.

They coined the “Détente Attack” concept: if a single entity gains control of 60% of the Bitcoin mining hashrate and performs a triple attack [compliance attack x selfish mining attack x hashrate mutualized in one pool], it would technically be able to censor more than 99% of the blocks – and to allow “politically compliant transactions” only.
