Just went to a coffee place that claims to be “the most sustainable coffee place in the city”. I ask the barista for a latte and I say regular milk. She looks at me weird as she asks me: “what is regular milk for you” and I laugh. She makes a serious face and I realise she’s actually expecting and answer hahahahahaha

I tell her cow milk and she’s like, ok that is 60 cents extra hahahahahahah

Extra charge for real milk. Wow. We haven’t reached that bizarre inversion yet here, but I’ll assume it’s coming.

Maybe next time ask to see them milk the cow to confirm its origin.
