Yep. Bitcoin is an asset. Monero is a currency.
Id be completely open to this if transferring between the 2 worked privately and at scale. But thats not how it works.

There is no way for an outside observer looking at the chain to know that Bitcoin you sent from address A to address B was a Monero swap
As for the at scale part, check out SeraiDEX and Haveno. Both are going to be launched sometimes this year.
