I want to work in Bitcoin, and keep developing my technical experience to where I can work in a Sysadmin or Development role at a Bitcoin company. That will take some more time. I can keep learning about that field in my spare time even if I take the sales job, but being in a technical support role will probably speed up that learning process.
Find a bitcoin project you really like and join that community in the meantime. Lurk and ask questions. A great initial goal would be setting up whatever developer environment is needed and building the software. Seems daunting but a lot of communities are good at onboarding.
Imho. If you can take the fiat pay cut, do the technical job and focus on learning. Use that job to upscale yourself technically.
