yeah, and my question with this picture is:
if the sun is 93 million miles away and
the moon is 240,000 miles away,
how come that the moon is lit
when the sun is right behind it.

This is obviously not a real photograph. The moon would be lit from the*other* side.
yes thats right, i also cant verify the picture
but maybe look out during the day
and if you spot a constellation like this
or a similar one, which isnt possible
then you can start think about it.
You may be discounting the sunlight reflecting off the earth and back to the moon, if the picture is real anyway
It isn't. What you're describing is called earth shine. This is when earth reflects light back to the moon. From earth this can be seen, when the moon *isn't* full, but we see that part of it that isn't lighted by the sun (so we can see the darker part, even if there isn't direct sunlight reflecting from it).

light bounces, friend.
its how we can see anything.
the same reason the front of the stones are lit. or anything else in your room beyond the rectangle of direct sunlight from the window.
i dont think this argument is valid
because you got moon phases right!?
so in this cases the light also dont bounces
so you would see a full moon every time
also there are pictures out which show a half moon
and the sun in the sky, so how the light bounce to a half moon?
jesus i hope you are a troll. either way, you're out of the WoT. it's been fun 👋
i am not a troll
just try to figure out this topic
Social media is not the place to learn physics.
Complex phenomena that are not easily explainable without a detailed understanding of physics do not mean that the earth is flat.
There is literally hundreds of years worth of knowledge and experiments showing that the earth is not flat.
Great question nostr:nprofile1qqsq2adlq0pxrsv4pqy5mmefe22r5k43frz0wmphnzj9hwc3v23ts7gpr3mhxue69uhkcatwvd5xymmc9eekzmnywa5kx6pwveshymgpp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqprpmhxue69uhkummnv3exjan99eshqup0wfjkccte0pef7x
This is what I found out....
'Yes, the sun and moon can often be seen in the sky at the same time because the moon is a daytime object for about half of its monthly orbit, appearing in the daylight sky. The moon's location relative to the sun and Earth, determined by its phases, dictates whether it is visible during the day. While the moon's brightness is often washed out by daylight, it becomes easier to see as its phase moves away from a new moon.
Why the Sun and Moon Can Be Seen Together
Moon's Orbit:
The moon orbits the Earth, and its position in this orbit dictates which phase we see.
Moon in Daytime:
For roughly half of its orbit (from new moon to full moon), the moon is in the sky at the same time as the sun.
Visibility:
The moon appears in the daylight sky, but its visibility depends on its phase and the surrounding light.
Why You Might Not See the Moon During the Day
Daylight:
The intense light of the sun can drown out the moon's reflection, making it difficult to see.
Moon's Position:
When the moon is in a new moon phase, it is located between the Earth and the sun, so the side facing Earth is dark and it appears "dark" or is difficult to see.
When You Are Most Likely to See Both
Early Morning/Late Afternoon:
You can often see both the sun and moon when the sun is low on the horizon.
Near Full Moon:
During the waxing gibbous phase (and beyond), the moon is easier to see during the day.'
Just from my own observation, I often see the moon in the sky even when the sun is out. It's certainly less visable at different times of the day though. As for that particular image. Could be called 'artistic licence' , an AI rendering or maybe even a 'real' photo. The article was focused on the huge stones, not the sun/ moon issue, but an interesting topic nonetheless.
thanks for your explanation
but the moon is lit by the sun!
and there are constellations
which should not be possible
so maybe the globe model is just wrong
most of the people just learned! the model
but never tested or thought out it
on their own
So that is a different question altogether. If the earth is flat or a 'globe'. Actually, I am open to all points of view on this. Agreed, that 'most of the people' don't question anything or think for themselves. That's why it's so great to be here on NOSTR 💜
dismissed the topic myself a long time.
but now i am looking into it.
the best proof for me is the gyroscope.
its a mechanical device which shows the tilt of an airplane for example.
if you would fly around a curve / globe the gyroscope would show the tilt because it does NOT adjust by gravity.
its a little technical and some say it adjusts with gravity
but this is just wrong, because then it would also adjust when you start to fly a 1 degree angle.
didn't come here for the grok replies
what you mean?
people like on twitter asking grok to explain or going into their favourite LLM and pasting a reply....
Because the image is not real
looks photoshop
Yup because it is. Ai creation or heavily photoshopped. Freepik have some similar images Ai generated.
yeah maybe its not real
but you can look to the sky and
maybe also spot some constellations
which should not be possible
and then start thinking about this topic
