Sure, it's your property and your right to do whatever you want with it. I am just suggesting you donate it to a charity that helps people rather than create a circlejerk video for a bunch of people that already hate Apple. The people you are trying to send a message to will not see it.
If you want to help Bitcoin adoption along, getting smartphones into the hands of the less fortunate people that need Bitcoin the most make more of a statement.
That's a fair sentiment. I have a lot of spare Android phones I'd be happy to donate. How do I donate them in such a way that I can be sure they're getting into the right hands? Those poor people who really need them.
Here's one option I found. If that doesn't work for you there's lots of charities that accept phones. Google for them and read their mission statements to decide if you think they'll do what you want with them.
Will do my research. I have seen so many cases of nonprofits skimming funds and doing other things I wouldn't wanna support (e.g. Oxfam prostitutes) I need to make sure it's a trustworthy organisation.
But I will donate Android phones 💜
