In fact, the author started out as a materialist athiest and has shifted his view towards a deeper spiritual understanding, which he hasn't defined yet, but I'd say that's a win.

That’s good! Hopefully he finds Christ Jesus
Following up on this because I just finished the book. Throughout the book there were many mentions of Christ and heaven. I'd say this book gave me a greater certainty of Christ than before.
The author was writing from a scientific perspective in an attempt to open the medical establishment to spirit. In an effort to remain professional he didn't include many of his own opinions in the text, but just provided the research findings. And they are beautiful 🙂
