Next up will be communities; I want Nostr to be able to provide the type of cohesion that something like Cara, which is a phenomenal app, is providing.

A community you can call your own, with your own ethos, open or closed, around whatever topic/values/interest you want.

πŸ‘‰ If this calls out to you, if it gets you saying "YES! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED FOR MY ____" reply to this note and help me shape it! πŸ˜€

Of course, NIP-29, so compatible with Chachi, 0xchat, highlighter, Flotilla, etc, etc.

Repost for visibility, in all my genius... I'm writing this Friday at 2.30am πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Communities for everything.

Amongst the brazilians some examples of communities created were: "I wanted ice cream, but it was frozen beans" ( ice cream package for the avatar)", "I hate waking up early " (Garfield, the cat, was the avatar for the community), "Dear mathematics".

YES THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT I WANT FOR EVERY INSTANCE OF PLEBEIAN

Not heard of Cara, sounds like an interesting direction tho πŸ‘€

Stay humble and stack zaps

Yes, for artists and for meme workers. Sub-cohorts. Happy to contribute as writer, artist, and idea haver.

I really hope this takes shape. I am much more of a Reddit user than I ever was a Twitter follower.

Great for photographers too, way better than that meta thing, which we don’t like btw!

Yes! We need a good Reddit replacement!

Hey! this sounds interesting and may solve some stuff.

i think that a part of what has created online division is large legacy Internet companies like FB, etc. trying to be an "everyone" community.

as humans, i don't think we are all necessarily meant to be talking to each other under one big tent and it seems like attempting it is part of the reason that legacy social media is a censorious mess.

in everyday life, we have family, close friends, and aquaintances. we don't speak to "the world" most of the time. not every utterance is meant for the world.

my 2sat take.

Completely agree. The power is in the fragmentation.

Yes! That's exactly what I want for nostr:nprofile1qqsyn7pemjl5cxzgeputgu9cnlv0n0fjj3c94e4qac4sx7uxnzq70fspzdmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ue0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxummnw3ezucnpdejz7yjtaws community, all the other NSW startup communities, and my next company too.

YES! PLEASE CREATE ONE FOR NOSTR JUNIOR DEVELOPERS!

YES! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED FOR MY Thriving Now Community Center! I’m using Discourse right now. Thrivingnow.center

yes I want Reddit back!

Take a look at my Tribes proposal: https://github.com/lez/nipls/blob/main/tribe.md - it's just been up for feedback

Hey, it is possible with the current nostr structure to build something like a 24 Hours story function?

yes, I have something like that already implemented but commented out from Olas

Thats great, the question was because of nostrs delete request function. I thought, it would be difficult. When will it be active?

I have a problem with creating invoices for lightning. I cant see the lnurl invoice or the entire qr code to screenshot:

Yes please!
