New shoes! My fitness trainer likes the Hobibear brand because of the wide toe box and the wider width at the arch. A lot of “barefoot” brands trying to get money from that audience will have a wide toe box then narrow like any other shoe midway.

I still need my custom insoles right now which move around too much if there’s not more structure to the shoe. I had a different brand of barefoot shoes but they didn’t support the insoles enough which is why I like the Hobibear. 🐻

How did they work out?
Really well. I wore them with my custom insoles for a half day, then a full day. Right foot ached a little after the full day, but it does that right now.
I matched the size on my old hiking boots, and chose Wide. There’s a bit more room in front of my toe than other shoes, but the rest of the shoe fits comfortably so I’m going to keep these. 👍
