Twitter allows tipping via Lightning to your Strike wallet as a first-class feature. I can pay the invoice with any Lightning wallet. It also has other modes of payment: Bitcoin address , Cash App, Venmo. It’s literally no different in Damus. 
So I think we should all start sending Lightning invoices in Twitter, Instagram and Facebook messages.
Then Apple will be forced to remove those apps, right? Because that’s what they’re doing with nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955

The difference is that if you live in a region where Strike is unavailable, you can’t receive Lightning tips, since they don’t support any other methods.
