Maybe if the entire crypto industry wasn’t full of fraudsters and shysters violating U.S. sanctions and cucking for terrorists and foreign intelligence agencies this wouldn’t be an issue. Constantly failing to address the root of the problem has always made it worse.
They just don’t want anyone new to the party that they have made deals with. AKA Twitter, Meta…. The elite world is Coke and Pepsi. It’s the only way they know how to control they provide illusion of choice when there’s no choice just a different colored box. This platform and one’s like it will continue to be pushed out. Creating grassroots ground swell of support in our age of rapid info exchange is only going to be more difficult.

Twitter allows tipping via Lightning to your Strike wallet as a first-class feature. I can pay the invoice with any Lightning wallet. It also has other modes of payment: Bitcoin address , Cash App, Venmo. It’s literally no different in Damus. 
The difference is that if you live in a region where Strike is unavailable, you can’t receive Lightning tips, since they don’t support any other methods.
yes this would be cute but is more likely that apple gets annoyed and removes lightning apps from the store all together.
