When planking, I use forearms instead of wrists. Are those bars/handle thingies really much better on the wrists? It seems they are more suited to the intensive workouts like yours, instead of my measly ones.

they are for me, when i was in the thirty range I broke my perfect push-up thingies I had owned for about 10 years. i started doing the burpies without anything and my wrists were suffering. it's also a little bit of a cheat for my tight hamstrings. kinda like a yoga block.
Hmmm. I have tight hamstrings too. I use those wide rubber bands that are hella unforgiving. Still can’t grab my toes. I can touch them, only just. My goal is grasp instep, and touch nose to knees, LOL. One can dream…
