Although, he always has that profile, but I only notice it, if I'm relaxed and in a good mood. So, there's a prerequisite state, which takes hours to reach, and involves stuff like him washing the dishes, bringing me π·on the couch, and cuddling.
Or his being funny, while we're eating dinner. He's hilariously funny. And it's always unexpected because he's not much of a talker. So, he won't say anything for a while, and then he'll bust out with something so funny that I nearly fall off the chair from laughing so hard, and he just grins and goes back to cutting his schnitzel, like nothing even happened.
I guess that all sounds sorta lame. π
Women are difficult to understand on this subject because you actually kind of have to woo them all day, every day, forever, but you probably don't know you're doing it because they consider things like "he carried in the heavy grocery bags" or "that slanted grin" or "went to work, again, so that the rent is paid" or "it's so cute when the baby sleeps on his tummy" to be wooing. It's like a drip, drip, drip into a bucket and when it overflows, *then* she's like,
Damn, that eyebrow ridge, tho.
lol a lovely explanation :3
i don't think any of this is lame. i think it's why women are so amazing, inspiring, and attractive~!
many guys (myself included in the past) try to "figure it out," but there's really nothing to figure out... it's just something we should simply adore and be in awe of. and the idea of ultimately being subject to a woman's mood all day, every day, forever may seem terrifying, but (and i'll just speak for myself here) is so insanely hot lol
i just love how you expressed it here:
it's the things that feel effortless, but require constant effort.
the things that we don't notice, but require diligent attention.
women are just so brilliant <333
