Windows lost all its soul somewhere after the top quarter.
Agreed. I bowed out around XP service pack 2.
If they nurtured and allowed the community of designers and hackers to create themes, they would probably have a good theme by now.
But honestly, I like the Mac style desktop. I use gnome even though it's probably the worst for power users, don't shoot me, but I honestly haven't seen a cleaner and functional theme that doesn't require hours of configuration.
We should have many by now. Still even linux is full of ms paint designed themes too it seems, so maybe I'm wrong.
It's not just looks, but gestures, animations, and utility that make a good UI.
RIFT sounds like an interesting concept for osx would be nice to see copilot work that in for MS side
all of those are buttfuck ugly
Came to say this. Except for the 'buttfuck' part. Nice touch. 🙂
Thanks for the anxiety. I hate it.
Windows 7 was peak UI design.
ZERO INNOVATION, SAME AS CRAPPLE
thanks, i hate it
I think taskbars are massively overused. Do I really need them ALL the time?
