Doesn't work for you not sure why. I've done it a few times to try it out but for whatever reason it doesn't work for everyone.
A zap is a glorified lighting payment tip. It's no different than someone sending you a lightning tip. The only difference between a tip and a zap is how it's displayed on your Nostr profile. You receive the sats exactly the same way between the two.

No problem, it's super confusing. A "zap" follows NIP-57 which is a standard only specific to Nostr. That's why only certain Nostr clients and lightning wallets support it. Not sure how I feel about it personally, feels like it will lead to fragmentation down the road, imo.
