It doesn't even take much to get more fit. Gyms are overrated unless you're really looking to build bulk or can't focus on exercise anywhere else. Eat less, eat healthier, go on regular long walks.

If i’m going heavy that day i usually take a 3 minutes rest period between sets. If i’m working more towards hypertrophy i do around 1 minute rest.

I conciously leave my phone in the locker when I'm at the gym. It's my meditative practice and time to clear my head.
Also a good opportunity to cut down screentime, which is already too high

Sweating is uncomfortable. You need to take shower afterwards and your body hurts from lifting weights... Duh.
For some that is more than if the gym never existed. -)
