wow, that is such a depressing thing to provide for someone you are supposed to be caring for.

You are supposed to heal slowly. Bills go brrrr

for real! my dad is in a nursing home and he's getting a "consistent carb" diet. all i can think of every time i see what he's eating is they trying to slowly kill him... slow enough to milk him for a lil more of his fiat first...pisses me off so bad. We desperately need big changes!

Why don’t you simply take him out of the nursing home?

If you really care you would take on the burden of housing him and feeding him in your home. Otherwise just talk.

With all due respect, that's quite a close-minded comment.

It's a very complicated situation and none of your business, but thanks for asking.

It’s always complicated. It’s always difficult. It can’t be about the money since you could technically take his nursing home fees as payment instead.

Sometimes you need to take handle over a complicated situation to improve the life of your loved one.

Anyways.

At least you have all the answers!

I’m just saying. Actions lead to results that you want.

All the best!

The American way is to put the elders out to pasture in a nursing home where they enjoy TOP NOTCH care in the hands of imported coolie labor.

I know you’re joking but yes the workers just do not care. Like at all.

If the “patient” puts up any resistance whatsoever they start to neglect them.

It’s fine you reap what you sow. If you don’t take care of your parents when you get older your kids do the same to you.

it amazes me what we give patients sometimes

1000%

Yeah but those healthcare insurance CEOs are expensive and in short supply so they have to skimp on food to save money.

Looks awful....

"food"

Sugar, sugar, sugar, and sugar, with a side of sugar
