For sure, its by no means perfect, but it can do a ton of things, especially in small blocks, really well. So when I'm building small, single purpose apps and don't know where to start, its an insane advantage. They aren't at all "elegant" and it always takes a lot of iterating to get it to work properly, but that's part of why it has helped me to understand the code better, I can see and analyze the small changes every time I run into a problem.
