It'd be nice if distinguishing between good and evil was as easy as looking it up in the good book, but I think most people tend to miss most of the point most of the time.

There are a lot of ways to chase status & avoid reality & there are many mindless indulgences that one can pursue. Doing what is right or what is best in the long run is always a much more limited set of choices.
