does it flicker?

It's plugged in AC so it does yeah. I can't see it, but it does.

Bro have a look at getchroma.com - their sky portal would be ideal for this use. Not blue light , zero flicker and can be amber for the arvo

Might be a very good lamp of you have the money, but it's still LED so it does flicker even if marketed as zero flicker and what I want is a bright white light when I work. I need light for precision not comfort when I work so I'm not necessarily looking to have a reddish light on my desk.

(Tho mine also have some different light colors in case I'm in an other mood or don't need ultra precision)

I was under the impression led = flicker but he doesn’t use pwm to drive them - thus no flicker.

Listen to the guy talk about it - he’s gone to lengths

In the video he doesn't really go in depth about it. It's a quick 20 second.

From what I understand it's basically physically impossible to completely remove flickers even with the best drivers.

But maybe they use something else and they made it truly flicker free. Idk. It does look like a great lamp.

How many lumens? That's like the biggest draw for LEDs imo. Lots of light very efficiently, even if it's "unnatural".

2200

Exactly. Bright and white is nice when doing precision work.

Leds have their use.

They have their uses, but it's still shitty light for humans. But sometimes it's worth it.
