You make better decisions as a husband and father if you have low time preference. Plenty of married men do very detrimental things to their families. More than half of children are raised in broken households.

All my married friends with kids barely take care of their family, are broke and are massively unhealthy so no I don’t think it automatically makes you have better decisions

I agree with a slight adjustment:

You make better decisions if you're married and have kids and have an open curious always learning mind, that also things different than the majority of the world population.

GM jimmy. Since I have a daughter, every decision is much more reasoned and difficult. Even if you have to go ahead with your ideas trying to do the best for my daughter
