Bitcoin promised to be p2p digital cash with no trusted third parties but we got a high-risk, speculative digital asset instead. What went wrong? Is Ark gonna save us?

because that is the sound money?

Hoping monero is reliable

I think its just the normal path, there will be some decades of accumulation (SoV) until the majority catches up, because now the ones that get it have an asymmetric advantage, once the majority gets it, that advantage is out, and everyone will accept btc as payments. Currently for payments or fast txs i think we are in a good place, we have a good set of options for all tastes like Strike, Minibits(ecash), Spark wallets, Ark, Phoenix, Bitkit, Zeus etc. All compatible through LN.

What went wrong is the population chose violence.

Bitcoin was never going to displace the dollar, it just helps prove violence is justified because it's such a great attempt to make change by peaceful means, and still such a huge failure due to insufficient violence letting too many psychopaths reproduce before dying.

I use it everyday as p2p cash. Bitcoin is freedom tech, if you chose to use it as such.

It is low risk. And all assets are speculative. Even fiat.

Bitcoin can't promise anything, it's just software.

Those are not contradicting properties of Bitcoin. Can be used as both

High risk speculative digital asset in what terms? When measured with the control system yardstick? If 1 sat = 1sat, then it is p2p digital cash with no trusted third parties. You choose which lens to see it through.
