Hashtags give you reach and can find what you want. Some clients work better in some ways than others.
Once your following enough active people your feed will light up like normal.

There are way more than this.. maybe 30-50 that allow you to get onto Nostr. Some have different features. I usually am on Damus.

The hardest (confusing) part for me is that I wasn’t seeing any interactions unless I manually clicked into my individual posts.
Got that fixed by the First Aid feature of the Damus app
Next piece was just understanding the verification / vanity URL vs the public key as means of sharing my profile with people.
Working on the last bit now, Lightenting (not in a position to create a wallet securely until tomorrow)

Next go field by field in your profile to get all you want setup in there.

Nostr is def. not perfect, it’s only 3 years old so it should get better and better..
Primal might be the easiest client to start with.

You can keep it simple:
1. Follow everybody
2. Tell them what you think about what they post, engage in conversation. Yes, a gif meme is also conversation.
3. Post whatever you like. Just get it off your chest. Again yes, a gif meme does it.
That's all really. The rest is irrelevant.
