True freedom is only achieved through virtue, and does not require sound money, free speech, friendly regimes or even physical health.

I don’t disagree that Bitcoin and nostr and other sides of the cube work together to increase human optionality (and I do think it’s good!) but optionality != freedom in its fullness

Sure, in it's more metaphysical sense freedom is a state of mind and you can be free even while existing in a cage.

But humanity includes it's physical aspect, which necessitates tools to sustain its freedom.

I generally agree, but don’t think the physical/metaphysical is the line that delineates the differences.

Learning musical theory enables the physical act of music-making.
