I can confirm that both Tailscale and LNC make using your node worthwhile. Otherwise, with TOR, you're going have a horrible experience with slowness and connection timeouts.

I love Tailscale and is my go to but Tor still works. It is inconvenient but still useful to the right user. It can only get better over time
