The literal meaning is "to choose" but a more contextually accurate translation for its technical use would be "to innovate." It's making a new choice, apart from conventional wisdom or God's law.

Yesterday I learned that aspartame, commonly used as a sweetener in diet sodas, caused cognition deficits in rats that were studied...😦

It's just like me fr

Yeah, it's nasty stuff

anecdotally i can report that maltodextrin seems to have a neurotoxic effect (possibly indirectly via bacteria) on dental nerves and causes double vision, in tandem with sucralose, acesulfame k and aspartame, all of them seem to be neurotexic.

it was reducing my long term memory capacity as well.

i'm of the opinion now that as well as the artificial ones, you are better off avoiding all types of sugars that are generally feeding bacteria, the most potent bacterial feeds are maltose based. for this reason also, just quit with the seeds altogether, they are all full of polymers of maltose and enzymes at least partially break them into maltose even without actually sprouting (malting) the seeds.

this feeds bad bacteria and at least some of them metabolise this and produce nerve toxins. there is loads of other nasty things they do too, like messing up your immune system, lowering your hormones, reducing bone regeneration, changing your blood pH and stickiness of blood cells, leading to more clots and so on and so on.

the artificial sweeteners are just more about the neurotoxins, but all fermentables are suspicious.

It's well known for at least 30 years now that aspartame influence on alzheimer and other neurological diseases. Not on rats ... on humans. They still sell it today, they don't care.

The history of heresies is told by the factions that won.

Not really, you can look at the historical record, unless you want to say there’s a conspiracy to forge thousands of random historical treatises.

Nice.

Bitcoin is heresy.

The opposite of fiat.

As in an individual thinking he has the power to choose what's correct. Truth is Truth, whether one likes it or not.

Aren't you a protestant?

Yes, why do you ask?

Protestantism causes heresy, as the absence of a teaching office allows you to pick and choose your own interpretations of the scriptures.

I love your podcast by the way ;)
