Came home to six shades of kombucha.
Any hot takes on the health aspect of kombucha? Do you enjoy it, avoid it or use it?

I think its from drinking too much hard liquor a couple years ago
I absolutely love it. Know nothing about the health aspect though.
Looks great. I had a five gallon batch perpetually brewing for over 5 years strait. I would drink it everyday. After the third kid came I just couldn't keep up with everything and the kombucha was one of things that I took a break from. But you definitely make me want to get it going again. I used to do all sorts of flavors in second ferment with herbs and fruits. Peach basil jasmine green tea was my fav.
No hot takes on health aspect really. I think it did help somewhat overall with digestion but I didn't think it's a miracle tonic. Mostly I just like it and makes me feel good. A little bit of sugar, a miniscule bit of alcohol, a small amount of caffeine, and lots of yummy fermented goodness.
I’m with you. I drink it because I enjoy it.
However I learned to go easy in the beginning of a kombucha campaign. Large doses may cause serous gas… 💨💨
