People and evil institutions desperate to infiltrate Bitcoin and anything that could grow into a threat will throw money at projects both to try to control their development, curry favor with “The Community” and insert their tentacles to monitor, distort, distract and execute their wicked agenda.

Nostr is now on the list of “Threat Apps” and so is to be cursed with a poison “donation” in an attempt to gain some sort of control and influence over its development. The control will appear at first as private appeals for moderation, back doors, not allowing it to be used in enemy countries and other insidious things. If a Foundation is ever formed, the corruptors will want a seat on the board; and why shouldn’t they ask for it? They paid for it didn’t they?

Of course any developer who has sense will be able to take money that is given to zer and refuse corruption of any kind. Real people like that cannot be corruptied and are unlikely to be corrupted if they’re working on “decentralized, censorship-resistant, open-source, Lightning-native protocol allowing for an unstoppable global social network”. I trust that this is the case.

The whole point of this is that infiltrators who are eager to distort, corrupt and destroy are out there. You know the sort; they analogise that Bitcoin “is a weapon” that it is an asset that needs regulation, and rules of the road drafted by geriatric numbskulls and every other nasty, reprehensible anti-American thing. And “Ordinals”.

All it takes however is a real man, like Phillip Zimmerman (the author of PGP) to release something that changes the world forever in a way that is irrevocable. Going forward, all the stomach churning whining see aye ay agents can do is keep trying to infiltrate, as on all fronts Bitcoin and privacy tools spread like wildfire.

The multipolar world is coming where these fantastically stupid and unethical people have literally no place. The best they can come up with is to give money to their enemies. How creative! It won’t work, numbskulls; the problem is too big as is the number of people working on the solution in parallel and in concert. Your world is ending, and there is nothing you can do about it but to join in and be free on the new terms like everyone else.

Yes, but exceptional nation has no place in this world. Until it’s rotten brain gets cut off!

you forgot to tag them @npub1trr5r2nrpsk6xkjk5a7p6pfcryyt6yzsflwjmz6r7uj7lfkjxxtq78hdpu @npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s

What can a single pleb or a large group of them do about all this ? 🧐

That’s the right question, and the place to start.

You are a true believer, blessings of the State, blessings of the masses. Thou art a subject of the divine, created in the image of man, by the masses, for the masses.

Are you talking specifically about the Human Rights Foundation grant?

you should be more concerned about possible manipulation by miners who become more and more centralized. mining is not possible any more on normal hardware. extensive special asics are needed. if you just run a full bitcoin node, you have no say. the miners hold all power to make changes.

It will be much harder to capture nostr. Participants are contributing their time & resources with little expectation of remuneration. While there's hope value will be provided for value delivered, their motivation is not purely profit.

I strongly suspect nostr will lead bitcoin's next bull run & that those who contributors who survived the gauntlet will be made whole.

While some will inevitably fall victim to the traps they set, this is one hell of a hydra.

Don't allow yourself to be compromised folks.

Anti Capitalism and a hope for Number go Up in one post. IMPRESSIVE.

The agents are already on the scene.

Stay vigilant folks.

Interesting…why the specific reference to Zimmermann in the middle?

Grow up.

Don’t follow you, probably too stupid, but the question was serious.

No one is too stupid to follow me.

I meant, don’t follow your train of thought. I was curious about your reference to Zimmermann, upon which you replied for me to grow up ….
