This, I think, is confounding 2 issues. E-bikes help reduce local emissions (exhaust) which is good and true, but do nothing for the electric grid emissions as this demonstrates. I don’t think E bike advocates think Ebikes improves the electric grid emissions, just local air. Said another way this looks like a straw man’s meme
