Can anyone recommend nostr client and LN wallet? I tried getalby.com, but I am not sure about it. Since it is empty, I can't try it much. What's the best way to convert my bitcoin into LN? I do have Ledger hardware wallet. Thx :-)
If your using it just for zaps in Nostr Wallet of Satoshi works best for mobile. As for client depend what OS you are using for iOS use Damus.

on client iOS #damus is king and #plebstr is not bad, Android #amethyst is popular, web #iris.to has good long form reading, #snort.social is earliest nostr clients.
Alby is a cool LN wallet for web, for mobile #WalletofSatoshi is second to none, which takes zero fee for LN transaction and 0.5% for on chain tx, you can on chain tx to a lower fee LN wallet #Muun then LN-LN to WoS.

The majority of your bitcoin should stay cold on your Ledger, IMO. Only keep a portion on Alby for using with Zaps and spending. You can then use your Android phone with the Zeus app to connect to your Alby wallet and do it all from mobile!
Hi, thanks. I installed Bluewallet on my Android Phone to connect to Alby wallet. Works well. I see nostr is wey more coplex than expected.

If you are on android, you can use Amethyst, which can directly connect to your Alby wallet.
Hi, I'm using amethyst on android and it's pretty good. For sending I just use my regular lighting wallet SBW. Have tried setting up receiving but it'd probably have to be a non phone wallet that's always on I guess...
Pick someone you know and respect, go to their profile and see what relays they use. If you want, take a look at my relay list. Iβve been happy with it. I recommend using the NOSTR.wine paid relay. They also offer a filter that will be a paid service soon.
A lot of people use #[2]β here for zapping as well. As Derek said, keep most of your coin in cold storage. Id recommend moving 15k sats or so to a wallet for zapping. If all goes well; you wonβt need to refill. Once you start zapping, people will zap you back. Youβll get a zapped for being new as a welcome to NOSTR as well. π€π»ππ§‘β‘οΈ

Download Zeus and add the Alby wallet as a new node with the QR code. Then it will work as a mobile and browser wallet.
If you want to move sats between on-chain and Lightning, you can do that fairly easily with either Cash App or Wallet of Satoshi.

To convert there are a few non-kyc exchangs that do that https://www.athena-alpha.com/exchanges/ . Didn't tried other metods
