They were adding $15/mo/vehicle to my premium unless I got the OBDII tracker. At some point when premiums started to go up for inflation they got rid of it. I also protested that 2 of my vehicles are pre 1996 and don't have OBDII.

Sheesh. Who fights the good fight against this? Watchdog orgs? Or is this one of those situations where they wait for a massive disaster to legislate limitations. Like in California's disaster atm, there's rent and price hike controls.

I have no idea, this is the first time I've even been able to voice that concern XD.

I only ever dealt with SEMA with aftermarket things like emissions and testing, but even then their mostly California born lawyers and believe in most of the climate justice stuff they just want to see less corruption among the federal agencies, and clear compliance guidelines.
