I second that question. Software defined radio with a hackrf really seems more versatile to me for the price...

Meshtastic messaging. I got it for my son. He saw my meshtastic device and wanted something similar. Got him the t deck as he doesn't have a phone. Now that I have a solar router set up, I can see his location wherever he is on the farm
