Good self-reflection. That's how you don't become the markets emotional bitch.
Someone always wants to play on your emotions to make you sell or buy when you shouldn't.
I would not recommend Bitcoiners to buy Monero here. After such an exaggerated move we would normally need at least a couple of months of consolidation to rectify more investment betting on continuation. More healthy would be a small set back.
The thing is that we can not only compare BTC vs Monero. Monero is also flirting with breaking its 8 year bull flag vs USD. All that in a bear episode which signals a lot of strength.
See. If you would have listened to us a year ago, you would now comfortably sit on the 10% BTC (turned into Monero) now representing 40% of your stack.
We really learned a few things during the 15 years in this market. Mainly that exposure to only one side if you can not stomach the emotions can make you an erratic money and self-confidence losing trader when all you wanted is safety for your fam.
You have a responsibility in separating the noise from the signal. It's the most important thing in all markets.
at which price would you recommend bitcoiners shuffle to monero?
Totally depends if you are starting from zero exposure or if you already hold a core position next to BTC.
I am bad at giving advice at critical inflection points.
The last 1.5 years (with the exception of the last 2 months) it was a steel buy, but I very well know by now that most people will simply mute peak opportunity voices and ask later when the situation gets much more difficult for recommendations.
im normaly a fan of buying by conviction, e.g. for the long term but also: why waste a good oportunity to make some extra? yeah because you never know what the markets will do…
i see monero long term rising and bitcoin shaken and captured. but right now it feels hasty to convert.
Then set a target for DCA.
I would recommend at least a 10% Monero position.
Do 1% every two weeks and in 20 weeks you will have reached your desired position.
Yep just dip your toe in and build it up over time.
