You just use a bip38 key to add a password to your private key - we used to use BIP38 keys to make Bitstashers metal wallets

I miss Bitstashers!

I could still bring it back - I've got the stock, the software, the adverts, lost the original domain but kept the .co.uk one...considering it...

I use a passphrase also but I was playing around making different metal backups. It's not original but if you had your seed on nuts a bolts. Each nut a word (column) and each side of the nut a letter (row). The nuts could spin around the bolt but unless you knew how to align them up correctly, you wouldn't be able to read it. Like this for example, any thoughts...

The first row, would be a unique number in order to align the nuts up correctly
