I have a few old laptops that I could wipe and potentially use as nodes. Any suggestions on what to load on them?

It depends on what you’re using it for. If you’re wanting to run a general public relay, go with strfry. If you want to build a relay based on web of trust (who you follow and who they follow) check out wot-relay. If you want a personal vault to store all your notes, check out haven.

Keep in mind for a relay you need to be able to access it remotely so either you need a public IP or cloudflare-like tunnel. 👍
This is perfect. The latter part is where I need to do the work, but doable.
