We must take back sci-fi from the shitcoiners. Red Rising style novel but with descendants of early bitcoiners in charge of the universe, with a secret society of assassins whose mission is to safeguard the purity of money. Plot is coup d'état by a shadowy group of shitcoiners (those who have been hiding underground from the Inquisition) that find an exploit in a softfork their forebearers had managed to snuck in 260 years ago, in the early 21st century.

Ooo has potential to be a sick coming of age story as well

I’ve thought that eventually some absolute kickass bitcoin sci-fi novels with emerge and be glorious! Waiting patiently 🫠

Good book. But unfortunately, afaik (read it quite a while ago) it also has some Monero shitcoinery in it. I stand to be corrected.

I dont recall any shitcoinery.

Would never have recommended it had that been the case

I’ve been thinking of a very similar idea. Currently reading Diego Garcia only because the back of the book mentioned the two protagonists are discussing the rise of bitcoin. Very interesting non the less. Huge fan of Red rising and I feel a bitcoin style novel is on the horizon.

I have an idea for a Sci Fi story set in Antarctica where nuclear power plants have set up a thriving Bitcoin mining operation and have made that place hospitable. A libertarian place that becomes the home of the castouts from everywhere

People living their pura vida in Costa Rica.

Its minus 50 degrees

Awesome longline for an amazing feature film Jimmy! Vivid inspiration for composing an epic musical score arises on the spot!

Sci-Fi until reality creates scenarios that feel weirdly familiar 😀

I am actually colleting inspiration for a bitcoin only cyberpunk story where there are citadels on one side and dystopian megacities on the other side

Sci-Fi writers write for a world that may one day come to pass. So too must I shift my efforts toward building machines to be given to future generations, and not to be gazed upon by the unworthy eyes of my contemporaries. Their cretinous, blank stares sully the art of my creations.
