"One of the most important consequences of this new understanding of the dimensions of the human psyche is the realization that many states that modern psychiatry considers pathological and treats with supressive medication are actually 'spiritual emergencies,' psychospiritual crises that have a healing and transformative potential." - Stanislav Grof, Psychology of the Future

Agree & I speak from experience. Sometimes though trauma is so deep it can be helpful to use medication to lighten the brain’s overload so it can settle down and heal.

Absolutely. Sometime we just need to get through the week and stabilize.

Especially w ptsd.. The brain’s amygdala .. its fight/flight center can remain in such a heightened state that hypervigilance rules a person’s life. It did mine for too long. I’m grateful to have my life back. 🫶🏼

I'm really glad to hear you are finding resolution from that 🙏

Thank you. It’s been a long journey. My best to you and your journey. ❤️

Yessssss this all day

If I had to process childhood trauma all over again 🫠, I'd avoid all licensed medical professionals, get into ketosis to reduce brain inflammation, microdose, and do barefoot nature walk therapy, breath work, and cold therapy with a trusted guide friend.
